Meet Our Founder

Danielle Kristine Toussaint

Hello there! I’m founder of Purple Haus and our nonprofit partner venture, Dream Purple Foundation. I’m also author of the book, Dare to Think Purple, which shares leadership lessons and from leaders of social enterprises.

It’s my personal mission to improve the human condition one story at a time. Over my 20+ year career, I’ve worn many hats, including nonprofit executive leader, social entrepreneur, author, public speaker, startup advisor, and angel investor.

My passion for storytelling and social impact has led me to work with leaders at global corporations, national philanthropies, and local nonprofits supporting teams of all sizes and at stages to unlock the power of branding, marketing, and strategic communications for the greatest good.

I’ve been the writing pen behind op-eds and speeches for Huffington Post, Forbes.com, Business Insider, and TEDx. Proud to hold my B.A. in Political Science and African American Studies from Yale University and an M.S.Ed from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, I’m active in both alumni communities as a mentor.

In summer 2024, I launched a nonprofit social venture, Dream Purple Foundation, to be the partner organization to Purple Haus focused on building a future where human creativity is amplified by AI.
